TECH NEWS — Following reports of overheating issues with some of its iPhone 15 models, Apple has confirmed it is working on a software fix to address the problem. While the company said there is no safety risk and the long-term performance of impacted iPhones will not be affected, it added there are several circumstances causing the overheating.
These include recently updated third-party apps, such as Instagram, Uber and arcade racing game Asphalt 9, as well as a bug in iOS 17. Additionally, the device may feel warmer after being set up or restored due to increased background activity. Apple is working on solutions with app developers and plans to roll out a software update to address the iOS 17 issue.
