The accused, whose plea was not taken, is facing a murder charge. According to Inspector Olalekan Adegbite, the police prosecutor, the tragic incident occurred on July 4, at approximately 8:30 p.m., at the couple's residence in the Adogba Ajegede area of Ibadan. The altercation allegedly escalated to the point where the woman, in a fit of rage, fatally stabbed her 27-year-old husband during a dispute over noodles dinner.
