NIGERIA — President Bola Tinubu exercised his executive powers under the 1999 Constitution as amended by signing into law the “Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Fifth Alteration) (No.37), 2023”.
The bill was presented by the now outgoing 9th National Assembly, and it amends the Nigerian constitution.
With the assent of the Bill, Nigerian judicial officers will now have uniform retirement ages and pension rights, which will greatly improve their working conditions.
