Tragic Incident: Nigeria Customs Officer Fatally Struck While on Duty

NIGERIA — During duty, an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service was fatally struck by a motorist in a collision involving a Toyota Corolla.

The officer received immediate medical attention but later succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.

Investigations are underway, and the Customs Command has taken possession of the vehicles involved.

In a separate event, the Customs Command organized a parade to honor fallen officers and strengthen unity among the personnel.

The Command also welcomed a visit from the State Commissioner of Police to foster collaboration in fighting crime and ensuring a peaceful environment for development.
