FIFA has dealt a blow to Al-Nassr, the Saudi Arabian club that boasts Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in their ranks, after the football governing body sanctioned the team for an unpaid transfer fee owed to English team Leicester City.
Al-Nassr was found guilty of failing to pay the performance-related add-ons involved in the transfer of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa in 2018, despite The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruling.
The Saudi Arabian side is now banned from registering new players in the upcoming season as a result of their failure to pay the €460,000 add-ons, which were part of the €16.50m deal for Musa's services.
