Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman led Eid Al-Fitr prayers on Friday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). While King Salman performed the prayers with dignitaries at Jeddah’s Al-Salam Palace, the crown prince joined worshippers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

Earlier, King Salman took to Twitter to convey Eid wishes to Arab and Muslim nations around the world, expressing hopes for prosperity and stability.

“May Allah accept from all of us the fasting of Ramadan month, the prayers, and good deeds. May Allah return to all of us Eid, as our country, the Arab and Muslim nations, and all the countries of the world enjoy security, peace, and tranquility,” he tweeted.

On the eve of Eid Al-Fitr, King Salman offered a speech delivered by the Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari. He expressed pride in the Kingdom's role in serving Umrah pilgrims during Ramadan, stating that the government had provided thought and money to ensure the mission was fulfilled.

Al-Dosari added that millions of Umrah performers were able to perform their rituals with ease and comfort during Ramadan, thanks to the tireless efforts of various government sectors and the grace of Allah.
