Governor Tambuwal of Sokoto State is now the new Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF. He takes over from Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State.

Until his recent position, Tambuwal was the Vice Chairman of the Forum. He served in that capacity for four years.
