Jamaican Usain Bolt, has retained his 100 meters Olympic title after clocking a record time of 09.63 seconds.
  He was closely followed by Yohain Blake (9.75 secs) and Justin Gatlin (9.79 secs).
Blake and Gatlin both set new personal best to grab silver and bronze respectively.
