UNITED STATES — Six people died when a Cessna C550 business jet crashed in a field in Southern California before bursting into flames.
The crash occurred near Murrieta, California, close to the French Valley Airport, between San Diego and Los Angeles.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash. The identities of the six people who died were not released.
The crash follows another in which a man was killed and three were injured when a plane struck a building near the airport on Tuesday.
