A flight operated by Max Air, a Nigerian airline with a fleet of modern aircraft, has crash-landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
The flight, which had 143 passengers and an infant on board, was departing from Yola, the capital city of Adamawa State, when it encountered an incident on arrival at its destination.
According to a statement from the management of Max Air, the accident occurred after the aircraft experienced two tyre bursts on landing in Abuja.
The incident happened on May 7th, 2023, when the flight departed Yola at around 14:05 and was scheduled to arrive in Abuja at 15:00.
However, the airline assured the public that all passengers and crew on board the aircraft are safe and sound. The emergency response team at the airport quickly intervened in the situation to ensure the safety of the passengers and crew on board.
