Nigeria's inflation rate rose to 22.04% in March 2023 from 21.91% in February, according to the National Bureau of Statistics' Consumer Price Index report.
The March inflation rate represents a 0.13% increase from February's headline inflation rate. The year-on-year inflation rate was also higher by 6.13%, reflecting an increase from 15.92% in March 2022.
The NBS attributed the rise in inflation to increased prices of food, housing, clothing, transport, and other goods and services.
