The Kogi State House of Assembly has been thrown into mourning following the passing away of Hon. Jimoh Musa Omiata, the lawmaker representing Yagba East local government area.
Omiata, who was a two-term member of the State House of Assembly, passed away while receiving treatment in Lagos for an undisclosed ailment.
The deceased, a native of Igbagun community in Yagba East LGA, was the first person from the constituency to secure a re-election to the House.
