Man has new nose grown on his forehead after losing his nose in a car crash

22-year-old Chinese man, identified only as Xiaolian, has undergone an unusual treatment following a traffic accident that left his nose deformed after an infection. Surgeons at the Fujian province hospital where he is being treated sculpted a new one from rib cartilage, and grew it on his forehead. The replacement nose is thought to be ready for transplant soon.
