Nigeria: The award wining and author of Half of a Yellow Sun, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in an interview said African women should be proud of their natural hair, which is the pride of Africans instead of having inferiority complex carrying it.
She also talked about her new novel (Americanah) which includes the detail descriptions of black women having their hair done..
African ladies who believe that for one to look beautiful, you must wear Brazilian, Indian, Lace wigs or Peruvian hair have low self esteem, she said.
