If you would like to adjust your blog Header background up, down, left and right your blog page, go to your blog template, click on customize tab and paste any of the codes in advanced custom css box..

#header {margin-left:-12px !important;}             --------LEFT
 
#header {margin-right:-12px !important;}            -------RIGHT

Adjust the margin number[px] depending on how you want to position the header on your blog. Then save and apply to your blog.  It is done.
