The Rift Between Balotelli and His Girlfriend

Balotelli has been unable to escape from pregnant ex Raffaella Fico’s claim he is the dad of her unborn child. Italian model Raffaella, 27, has written an open letter to the star agreeing to his demands for a paternity test.
She writes in Italian magazine Chi: “This child I desire with all my heart and I want it because it is not a child that arrived by chance.
“This letter was the only way I could speak to you.” She is four months’ pregnant. It was reported during Euro 2012 that Balotelli — whose team Italy were thrashed in the final by Spain — was “delighted” at the news.
But he later insisted on a paternity test. Raffaella wrote: “I am happy to take the DNA test but I have the texts you sent me from Krakow in which you said you were happy with the news.

“Remember I never asked for proof of innocence from you when the papers said you went with other women.” The pair split up in April after a year-long relationship. Raffaella denied “cashing in” and said she was not paid for interviews or photos.
