Pregnant teenagers paid N70,000 for their babies

DailyTimes- The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has announced the discovery of a baby factory in Uruan where young girls are made to conceive, give birth and the babies later sold.
Allegedly run by one Wisdom Mbaba, workers in the factory collect the new babies from the young mothers as soon as they are delivered and pay each N70,000 after delivery.
The state's Commissioner of Police, Umar Gwadabe, told journalists that following a tip-off from a resident of the area, the police raided the place and environs.
