One of the greatest players Nigeria ever had, Rashidi Yekini, is dead. He died this evening after a prolonged illness. Yekini who aged 48 was apparently sick for a while and was taken to Kwara State for Treatment.
Rashidi Yekini Scored Nigeria's Ever FIFA World Cup goal, clutching the goal net thereafter.
He scored a total of 34 goals in 58 Appearances for the Super Eagles.
He will be buried according to Islamic rites tomorrow. May his soul rest in peace, amen...
